Staff Parish Relations

Responsible for all aspects of employment as well as concerns of the congregation.

The Staff Parish Relations Team, the Human Resource Department of the Church, is responsible for coordinating, hiring, and evaluating employees while focusing on the mission of the Church. The committee, as a whole, acts as one while hearing concerns of the staff as well as the parishioners, leading the way toward a successful outcome regarding the concerns.

The Staff Parish Relations Committee’s responsibilities include:

  • Evaluation of all employees
  • Match a committee member to employees to act as a liaison
  • Make budget recommendations to the Finance Committee
  • Review and adjust as needed all job descriptions and expectations
  • Work in conjunction with the Minister on plans for the Church
  • Keep records of attendance and vacations
  • Celebrations of Appreciation for all employees through cards, gifts, etc.
