Things to know for your first visit to the church
- Please dress casually. Very few wear suits or dresses. The Sunday service begins at 9:30 am.
- Parking is on the East side of the building. If the lot is full you may park at Sheets Funeral Home or across Highway 2 in the Chase Bank parking lot.
- Enter through one of the three doors on the East side of the building and turn left. There are either stairs or an elevator to take you to the second floor where the sanctuary is located.
- On the second floor is the library. Feel free to stop by here for coffee and treats. Of course they are free.
- Handicapped accessible bathrooms are located at the far end of the gathering area/narthex on the second floor.
- Bulletins/Programs will be handed to you as you enter the door to the sanctuary.
- Sit wherever you wish.
- We have a fairly traditional service with a praise song added to it.
- The service typically lasts one hour to 75 minutes.
- If you come on the first Sunday we offer Communion. This is open to all.
- After the service the coffee and snacks are available again. We call it Martha’s Kitchen.
Thursday Evening Worship
- In addition to our Sunday service we have a Thursday worship that is much more relaxed. It is called LYFT (Live Your Faith Today).
- It begins at 5:30 pm with a free dinner.
- Enter through the East doors and turn right. Go down the steps to the basement.
- At 6 pm we have the worship. It generally lasts 45 minutes. We typically have a couple of praise songs, prayer and a short message by some of our members. We end each week with Communion.
We are accepting of everyone! All are made to feel welcome!
